Hack: Super Mario World Mix Beta 2.0
Author: Super Mario World Mix Beta 2.0
Lenght: 29 Exits (23 Exits in the TS)
Difficulty: Standard: Skilled / Hard (It could be "Normal/Casual" also as this one doesn't really gets crazy besides one boss)
Status: Rejected
Start of the month with a Hack I unfortunately had to reject for one reason alone, the exit count stops at 23 instead of 29 as it supposed to.
Some levels don't have an event associated to them, this makes their exit not count in the counter, for every level to count, you need to have all the levels with an event, that's what happened to "Paranormal Saga", it's an easy fix but it's still enough for a rejection sadly
Other issues which aren't that big of a deal are
-One dot is invisible in the Overworld for some reason
-Some structures are not solid when in the same level other structures are solid
-One background having cut off
-One statue firing a laser for some reason when others statues in the sublevel don't do that
-explosions having a garbled graphic
-Midway flags having strange colors specially with Luigi
But, was the hack good? Yeah, not something overly impressive but it was fine, levels are easy and usually won't pose much of a challenge, autoscrollers are tedious but that's a given with these. Something that striked me as odd was how one level didn't had a single power up, the last one, and how some other levels have power ups weirdly placed, sometimes they are close to each other and they they don't, I also find weird how later levels are short, like the Super Mario Land 2 one, when previous ones are more longer in comparison. The ground pound mechanic was my favorite thing from this hack, I also want to believe this hack is taking notes from SMB3 Mix, given how the levels seems to be remixes of official stuff, but idk, I usuallyy don't like these because they are overdone by now, but it's not my hack so eh

![[RA] Super Mario Bros. Special: 35th Anniversary Edition
After having played SMB Special on the Remastered engine I went and looked or a SMB1 hack that was just a remake of Special, since the OG one in PC-88 is like, not really great, Ill be the second or third person to say it, and this had a Set on retroachievements so fuck it, Lets see what this is all about
So, Special, the true Lost Levels since not much know that Hudson did a mario game in 1986 (even if that name was also kinda given to the e-reader levels in SMA4 but, whatever) and it adds a few items and enemies, and Ill be honest, these add next to nothing if you ask me, they are neat, but nothing really groundbreaking
Level design: is fine, there are some annoyances here and there, and some terrible one tile jumps in some levels, or lets say, a mushroom on a tile ground where it can be blocked and trap you, neat stuff
Items: It adds some but lets be real, outside of the hammer which dont do much, the items are hidden and kinda obscure, you may not even get more than one in a normal run.
Set: This one is rough, specially the 1-up ones and a few No death run ones and add the Kill bowser with fireballs on top of that, this is going to take you a bit to master

![[RA] Kirby Super Star Ultra - Popstar Suplex Championship
[The True Arena] Become a true champion using only Suplex Kirby without a Helper
This was so misserable, but I got it, after hours of trying, man, this is single handedly hardest achievement on the set, not even the 20 helper one was this bad, it was tedious, but not this bad.
This is a grind oriented one for sure, people say its mostly skill and, imo, not at all, this requires you to sit there doing nothing until you get a chance to attack, and memorization, because some bosses have a pattern you can follow, so no, its not entirely skill based
