Super Mario Sunshine is known for it's tropical setting, voice acting and Fludd. Many people didn't like Super Mario Sunshine because of Fludd and the secret levels in Mario Sunshine are a highpoint for those people. The secret levels in Super Mario Sunshine are the best part of the game for some and even I liked the secret stages more than the Fludd gameplay. Thanks to the Super Mario 3D All-Stars on Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2, I've finally beat the GameCube classic and my thoughts on the secret levels, Fludd, and Super Mario Sunshine's physics and gameplay has changed. Super Mario Sunshine's secret levels actually paved the way for other Mario games like Mario Galaxy, so let's look back on how these secret levels worked.
