This is not a mod or a fangame, and it is not a romhack. This is a video displaying custom textures injected through emulation on a legally obtained copy of the game. I'm happy to announce that the latest update to my texture pack, Super Mario Sunshine 4K is now available! This is a massive visual overhaul to Super Mario Sunshine and includes over 500 new faithfully recreated 4K textures, updated user interface and 4K text for all messages in the game. With full support for all the region versions of the game. Enjoy!
This texture pack does NOT include any game files (rom) for Super Mario Sunshine, which you must get yourself. Do not ask for it here.

* Is this playable?
Yes. It's a texture pack, which means it only changes the visuals of Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube. You need an emulator to play this (Dolphin is included), and you need to dump the game rom yourself (not included). This is in no way shape or form related to the Switch version from Super Mario 3D All Stars, and the texture pack cannot be applied to the Switch version yet. * Do I need an emulator to play this?
Yes. The Dolphin emulator is included with the texture pack when you download it but it will work on any version of Dolphin.
* Can my PC handle this?
Any gaming PC from 2014 onwards should be able to play this. You can lower the graphics as much as you want in Dolphin to improve performance. Recommended specs: GTX 1650 or higher, 8GB of RAM, Intel i3 or Ryzen or higher.
* Is this free?
Yes! Newly released updates are exclusive to Patrons for one month, though.
* Will you retexture every single texture in the game?
That's the plan, but I can't make any promises. I'm busy with other projects and this project takes a lot of time to work on. At the moment, roughly 50% of the most important textures have been retextured.
* Do you make other texture packs as well?

* Can I contribute to this texture pack?
