Today I am going to be showcasing you some gameplay of Super Mario Sunshine but in its first Beta leak Form. The released game was made by Nintendo. The user @PortableProductions decided to recreate the Beta Build that looked exact to the very first Reveal Trailer of Super Mario Sunshine. So basically the Red or Orange Triangles are Mario's Health when he loses some Health the Triangles turn Black. With the Water Meter being a Circle. So instead of the Water Meter and the 8 Piece Life Icon being Separated Objects they were combined into 1. I think the Reason why the developers decided to make the Water Meter and Life Icon Separate HUD Objects is because of certain Levels of Mario not having F.L.U.D.D. On him if he starts at the beginning of the game first on the Airstrip with him before he met F.L.U.D.D. In-person then showing it to Princess Peach, the Toads, and Toadsworth. And the fact it might get Swiped from Shadow Mario. So that is how the 8 Piece Life Icon and Water Meter becoming Separated Objects in the Final Game because of certain levels of Mario not reclaiming F.L.U.D.D. Until he collects a Shine or reclaims F.L.U.D.D. On the Airstrip or Episode 3 Piñata Village. The HD Footage that originally was low quality now compressed into 1440p QHD was done by @UncleMeatz, the Extra 2 Nintendo Mario sounds I found on YouTube that was uploaded from other users, and Custom Placed Mario Lives HUD was Green Screen from iMovie was Video Edited in by me. I used one of the Mario Sound Effects from Super Mario 64 since this was the Beta Version of this game of Super Mario Sunshine and some Audio Clips for Mario that were using the Final Version of the game Portable Productions decided to Mute to make it feel more beta it kinda felt off having Mario do a Normal Jump without a Voice Sound in 1 of them so I decided to reuse a Super Mario 64 Audio Clip for one of the missing Normal Jump Sounds. Every other move Mario without a Voice Clip besides having one of other moves with one looked fine. I also decided to fit the Beta Style of the Mario Lives hud by using the Color Number Font but the number font didn’t look accurate to the Sol Coins Number Count since I used Image Play while using the same exact Number Color that was used for the Sol Coins. The other Mario Voice Clip I used came from the Final Version of Super Mario Sunshine which I found a video of Mario's Voices in Sunshine uploaded by another account. I used one where Mario says the title of the game after it fully appears. The Mario head is ripped from the Super Mario 3D All-Stars Version of Super Mario 64 thanks to someone making it Transparent and with the "x" being the Original Low-bit Super Mario 64 Font then I used it as a Green Screen on iMovie for it. It also included the Water & Health HUD too but for some reason the Water & Health HUD the Blue became transparent so I was originally going to include the Water & Health Hud and the Mario Lives Icon in the Beginning of Bianco Hills since the rest of the Hud including the Sol Coins did not load yet but due to the Water Color being transparent because of that Green Screen I had to replace it with a Water & Health Hud with the Bright Yellow Screen as that did not make it Transparent. Most of the recreated Work and Gameplay Footages were done by Portable Productions, I screen Recorded the Footage on YouTube and edited it using iMovie. You can see that I trimmed out the "PUSH START" Screen as it was unnecessary to have that part to the end of the Cutscene why not just skip straight to seeing the Mayor on the Delfino Airstrip. By the way I am still calling the Plaza "Delfino Plaza" instead of Dolpic Town as that was the localized name for that town in the US & other Regions of Super Mario Sunshine that was from the released version. Putting that Localized Name Delfino Plaza in the Subtitles even if the town is a Beta Recreation of a Beta Recreation Game. In JP of Super Mario Sunshine it was called "Dolpic Town" while in the US and other Regions it was called "Delfino Plaza". When Mario goes to fight the Boss. I decided to used the 2nd Boss Fight Area Portable Productions did compared to the 1st one. The 1st Beta Boss didn’t feel unique enough due to it literally being a Stack of Widget Puffies & Giant Puffy you can find in the Final Game's Piñata Park. The 2nd Boss was unique becuz it was literally a Custom Beta Boss fighting a Custom Boss Pokey in the Dessert so I used another YouTube video from Portable Productions did instead. Instead of Transitioning to Nighttime of Delfino Plaza after the Boss was defeated I wanted to show gameplay in a different area instead. Yes, the Beta Recreation will lead you back to the Beta Delfino Plaza when actually playing as some people would wanna take a break there before transitioning into the Next Level. This was just for Video Editing and I did not want to make it too long so I wanted to show you Portable Productions showcasing Bianco Hills after the Boss Area.
