~ Hey guys! Welcome back to another edition of me finishing songs that I started a long while ago. xD
I love the Act 2 remix of this song that was put into Sonic Mania. The general vibe that it gives off just fits with the original Oil Ocean so well in my opinion. That's why I just had to cover this song. But if I had to be honest, I still feel like I couldn't do it proper justice on this cover. But I did it anyway, so there you go. xD
I started this song back roughly about a month after Mania was released. I returned to this project last night when I was looking through my unfinished files of various songs. This one was the closest to being finished, so I figured that I would just bust it out real quick. I was able to utilize some more instrumentation with the Peach and Feather instruments. I think the literal reason I had dropped this back when I did was because of the lack of instruments that I wanted to use for that last section. The soundfont ended up being edited to have the Heart one octave lower.

The next thing Ill be making is a DKC cover, its been a while since I made one of those and with most of my Subscribers coming from those, its about time I did another one. This song was fun to make! Besides this, Ive been working on and off with various larger projects of my own. Mostly stuff that have been in the works for a REALLY long time. Theres one project in particular that is going to be SUPER huge! Ive been hard at work on that one and hope that I can get it done in a timely fashion, because Im stoked to share it with you all. To save on spoilers, Ill leave it at that for the time being. When Im getting closer to being ready on that one, Ill make an upload to let you know its coming!
