I love New Super Mario Bros on DS and I wish it were a theme in Mario Maker. I know it looks similar to NSMBU, but it definitely would be different! It's got that gross DS low-poly look and a lot of 2D elements, and the mechanics would be unique. But it'll probably never happen :(
So I did some edit themes for the game's iconic music. So far I've done Ground, Underground, Sky, and Desert but I'm gonna do the rest. These videos are styled in the multi-layer mix style vini64 gave the real edit themes, to demonstrate that I followed the rules of 7 layers for each one that can fade in and out. Feel free to download these themes and use them in your mods (please and if you do credit me and let me know thx); the download folder includes each individual track, the multi-layer mix and a full mix of all the tracks.

Hey hey hey its not what it looks like!! I didnt just cover Friday Night Funkin because I want views. I just genuinely wanted to cover this song. I dont even like FNF and its music. I like... the Smooth McGroove cover of this song, and thats it. But like, I really like his cover of the song. So as an exercise is my ability to go ham on 2A03, I decided to make my own version of... MILF and make it sound how I like (better). I mostly listened to a piano cover as reference for this so it intentionally wouldnt be that similar to the original lol. Basically, I cannot stress enough that I do not care about FNF. Its ok if you do tho
But yeah this cover is 100% a flex and Im not ashamed of it. Speed 1, 2A03, stupid joke samples, a sick solo, its sick and Im a goddess /j")

1000 subscribers!!! HUH??? I hit 1000 subs as a slightly early Christmas gift. So I decided to celebrate with just a really big cover. Ive probably done more Pokemon music on this channel than any other franchise, so it felt fitting to do one for this milestone. I really love how this cover turned out; at pretty much every moment of making it I got the result I wanted. I think its fitting for the occasion. Also Ive somehow never covered anything post-Gen IV, which is bonkers. This cover started just VRC6, but I added in 5B which added a LOT. Turns this cover into something a lot more unique, I think.
My channel absolutely blew up this year, at least relatively to the speed it grew before then. I started this year with less than 500 subscribers... and then it just decided to double. Thank you for listening to my music, its been really amazing getting this much love on my music. I really want to make video game music my career, and seeing this much support gives me a lot of hope to achieving that. So thank you ❤️")

One of my absolute favorite games of all time, Super Metroid was the game that got me into Metroid. But up until very recently, it cast a huge shadow on everything else I played in the series and the genre. Nothing still has recaptured this games magic, and I dont think anything will. Now that I realize that, I can appreciate other games for what they are, but Id give a lot to experience something like this game again.
Did this one in MMC5 to match the four other Super Metroid covers on my channel. Its a long-standing tradition for me to use that expansion for this game, even if it started with a super old and super bad cover of Upper Brinstar. Im pretty proud of how much I got out of this kinda limited chip. For the second loop of the chorus, I tried my own thing with a big full three-part harmonization which was fun. That melody is just insanely good and Id like to see it return.")

Okay okay all 3 people who requested I upload this, here it is. I already had the Pokemon song queued up for upload but I randomly decided to post the promo on Twitter and it got over 500 likes and... it was crazy. So here it is! Pretty proud of this, I made it in like 4 hours and didnt use VRC6 for once. I think MMC5 was good because it kept me in that 2A03 feel but gave me a few more channels to work with. So yeah

Its this song from that game. The song is not my favorite of its genre (I already covered my #1) but its damn good obviously. This cover went for accuracy over better sound design so theres some awkwardness but I think it turned out good. Also, I made this at Speed 1 with blank instruments which was... actually really fun.
