After the major success of the first portable Mario platformer that was Super Mario Land, it was inevitable that there was more to come. 3 years later in 1992, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins hit the shelves and the rest is history. The sequel would go on to be viewed exponentially greater than its predecessor. And with a greater game, comes an even greater speedrun. Unlike Super Mario Land’s somewhat short history, this game is quite different. Based on the Super Mario Land video, clearly you all want more. Strap in, because today we are going to be diving into Super Mario Land 2’s Long Speedrun History.
