CHALLENGING GAME ALERT! This game is really hard and in some ways super unforgiving. If you go slow, you get last, if you go fast, Mario or Luigi will sit in front of you with a star and not allow you to pass. I overall like the game, but suck at it because I couldn't figure out the drifting mechanic too well. I think the game was designed with this in mind for players to hone their skills and show them off.
All of the drivers have specialties, so you can pick the all-arounder, superior drifter, or speed demon to try to get first in these races that are super challenging. Items from the blocks appears to be super random, so if you are in last and get a banana, it is what it is. This also means that you can be in first and get a star though, which is pretty overpowered.
