Super Mario Galaxy 零 Zero is a SMG2 mod created by Super Hackio and SY24. It serves as a "template hack" for Hackio's Galaxy Level Engine Version 3. Galaxy Level Engine, or GLE for short, is a SMG2 mod framework which adds lots of new features to the game, such as hubworlds. It's a rather complicated engine, so to assist SMG2 modders who want to use it, a template hack was released to showcase the various features in action. Mods can then be built on top of or take inspiration from this mod.
When GLE-V2 released, another template hack was made. But it mainly consisted of retail SMG2 levels, just reorganized. For GLE-V3, however, the template hack was converted into a more traditional mod, consisting of both retail and original levels. As such, it's much more suitable for anyone to play, not just SMG2 modders. This is my playthrough showcasing all the mod has to offer.
