Welcome! In this video walkthrough series, we will play through Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii and Switch! In it, Mario must traverse the galaxy, collecting Stars to power up Rosalina's ship and make it to the center of the universe, where Bowser is holding Princess Peach! But to do so, we'll have to sling through launch stars, feed hungry Lumas with star bits, beat several comet challenges, collect a massive amount of purple coins and even unlock a hidden second playable character in order to collect all 242 stars and save the universe! Of course, this video walkthrough will help you collect all of them and conquer this game! While it was recorded using the Wii, this walkthrough fully works with the Switch version packaged in Super Mario 3D All Stars!
This video is broken up into 70 parts, each covering a galaxy (though the hungry Lumas and trial stars are all packed into one video each). Using the time stamps and chapters, you can easily skip to whichever star mission you need help with so you can collect all 242 stars in the game! The first 35 parts cover Mario's journey and the last 35 cover Luigi's journey.
In this twenty third part, we go into the second galaxy of the Engine Room Dome, Sea Slide Galaxy! Like the name implies, a lot of the stars in this galaxy require races or navigating around the ring shaped sea. You'll be racing through rings (Going after Guppy), racing a bunch of penguins (Faster Than a Speeding Penguin), collecting silver stars (Silver Stars of Sea Slide), racing Cosmic Mario to the lighthouse (Underwater Cosmic Mario Race) and quickly racing around a small planet to collect music notes as the floor disappears underneath you (Hurry, He's Hungry). Also, obligatory Purple Coin star (Purple Coins by the Seaside) after beating the game and having the purple comet overhead.
