This is a game I've often seen not in as high regard in some of the other 3D Mario games, notably its own sequel, but as I return to it, I found myself having a lot more fun than I anticipated. That is to say, I didn't expect to dislike the game going into it, but maybe coming off the unpolished Sunshine and the dull NSMB put this in a lot higher light? Who knows, but hey, looking forward to continuing this and eventually getting to its sequel!
