This guitar cover was really close to not being released today. The sweep picking in the intro is way harder than it looks... or maybe I'm just bad at it, I spent a month practicing that bit every day. The entire cover was complete, I just had to record the intro, but I just couldn't do it, I was frustrated. I'm more of a bluesy/rock guitar player, sweep picking is not my forte and since it is the first thing you will hear, it had to be clean and with the right beat, that added a lot of pressure, I mean, it is the intro, the song opens big with that arpeggio, if the intro fails, the entire cover fails. And I refused to do it with a synth and call it a day.

I decided to save this cover for later and started working on another song, but during one of my daily practice sessions I started feeling comfortable with it and after a few takes I nailed it.

So here it is, Buoy Base Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy, for the Nintendo Wii. Please enjoy.
