Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 lol
Things you can do that the game does not tell you about lol
Notes: The Homing Ground Pound has a lot more range in Super Mario Galaxy 2 lol
There is a thing you can do where you can long jump out of the water, but I decided not to put that in this video because I feel it's more of a bug than a secret move lol (even though the surface spin is buggy too, but with that, I discovered a consistent way to do it at least, but the long jump out of water, it's weird to do, I think it has something to do with holding B or ZL, plus not as much useful as the other moves lol)
Also, in the level "Bowser's Dark Matter Plant", you can block Bowser's spin attack with your own, but I also decided not to put this in because it's more of a secret in a boss fight instead of a secret in your moveset, but is very useful lol
One more thing you can do is if you spin while holding the jump button, you will spin jump much higher, can also be very useful in a lot of places actually, for example if you are trying to get a "?" Big Coin, but I also decided to skip this for the video, since it not really a unique move/animation, but again, can be very useful lol
By the way, I could be wrong here, but I think what is happening with the water surface spin is that you are meant to be spin jumping out the water like normal, but for some reason, you don't get any height when using it, which is why that "air refilled" sound keeps playing every time you use it, your spin jumping animation also plays downwards instead of upwards, the white circle that shows up above you when you spin jump is also super big if you have done the surface spin multiple times, one more thing is that the water surface spin was fixed in Super Mario Galaxy 2, so you can't do it there lol
So, all of this is why, I think the water surface spin is a bug, it could also just be an unfinished move, but anyway, I just wanted to talk about that, thanks for watching the video though lol
