Mario 120 Stars: You're here.
Luigi 120 Stars: youtube.com/watch?v=Xa_LnHEBNmI
This is the first stream of a "two-parter" stream split between two days, the first [Mario] was 120 Stars as Mario ending with the storybook, and the second [Luigi] being 120 Stars with Luigi, ending with Grand Finale Galaxy.
Funnily enough I had genuine consideration for doing the entire other half right after this, but in the end I decided to just do the 120 Stars. I wasn't 100% sure if I'd feel up for replaying the game for what would be the fourth time this week, but I did.

![Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: High Up with Power-Ups
This level is pretty long and slow-going. Unfortunately, due to its leisurely puzzling nature its very easy to run out of time when going through it blind, even with the maxed out timer.
Course ID: PMD-6G8-14G
[0:00-4:15] Playthrough
- 0:43 The puzzles here have slight tells for when to time your shot. When the Bullet Bill overlaps the ice block, you can land a shot on the Bob-Omb.
- 0:54 Both the arrow and the ice block mark possible shot locations that work to hit the Bob-Omb.
- 2:23 Again some arrows to help you aim. You have to shoot the Bob-Ombs into the Swinging Claw so the Spiny Shell doesnt get stuck on it.
- 2:40 This bug is actually brand new to me, I never had that happen in testing or later playthroughs. Thankfully the shell squeezed itself out.
- 2:56 This spring isnt actually 100% necessary, but it makes reaching full velocity significantly easier.
- 3:17 A simple little timing puzzle for the last required power-up, just swing your tail to get rid of the Poison Mushrooms and preferrably dont get crushed by the block at the end. The 30-Coin can be picked up by swinging your tail through the One-Way Wall.
[4:15-4:38] Secret #1 - Cash Monies
- Using the POW Block for extra height to reach the platform above the pipe reveals a secret area where you can get a decent haul of coins by taking out the Piranha Plant blocking the P-Switch.
[4:38-6:25] Secret #2 - Super Mario Super Secret
- After clearing the Fire Flower segment with the Spiny Shell, you can get one shell for yourself and use it to access the pipe inside the puzzle area, taking you to super secret. This secret lets you skip the last bit of the level.
- 5:36 If you had the foresight to get a Super Leaf first, you can trigger a smaller super duper secret for no reward other than the instantly dying Sledge Bro and the Murasame Castle effect.
Interestingly, POW Blocks are unaffected by Bob-Omb explosions, which made it a perfect platform for the switch puzzle.
Because of how terrain works in the Sky theme, I had to carefully place Hard Blocks here and there in order to keep the look consistent and to keep the clouds out of the walls. Hopefully its not noticeable unless you pay attention, but you can definitely see it when you look at the thicker walls. Its actually what gave me the idea for the super secret, though the Mario portrait (from Mario Kart 64, by the way) is just something I made for fun and didnt actually intend to make it into an accessible secret at first.
Like the Yoshi level from before, this level started out as a small concept in one of my Brain Levels that I use to explore various game mechanics and interactions. Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: High Up with Power-Ups](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/h3-SCKA12PI/mqdefault.jpg)

![Emerald Dragon [SFC] - Final Battle & Ending + Omake Mode Outtakes
Super Famicom port with the English fan translation patch by Translation Corporation.
A rare event where Ive clipped a portion of a stream and used it for a video. If you want to see the full playthrough, you can find them on my channel or the links below. Had to split it into two parts due to YouTubes length limit of 12 hours.

I ended up missing the Omake Mode by ending the stream early, so I added it into this one to make this video a little more unique. To access it, you have to defeat all five Bunny Sisters (in Ervad, Kildale, Hvovi, Virgil and Marguan), then you have to defeat Bunny Black at the Casino in the City of the Dead located inside Dadarwa Forest, southeast of Fuwals shrine. Finally, you have to beat the game and idle on the MediaWorks logo at the very end for about 5 minutes, after which it automatically takes you to the easter egg.
After spending the last two weeks playing this game through four times, I finally figured out that Intelligence is indeed magic defense, its just really confusing because magic has fixed damage and seemingly cant be reduced past 50% effectiveness. Overall a very useless stat.

The stream had to be split into two parts due to YouTubes 12-hour limit. I tried to pick a spot where splitting it would make the parts about even in length without too severely interrupting an ongoing story situation.
Part 1: Youre here
Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FvkXZNUeEU
Emerald Dragon is an obscure RPG that was released on multiple systems, but never left Japan. Thankfully, the Super Famicom release has an English fan translation by Translation Corporation (hence the wacky intro). Much like Mystic Ark, I fell in love with the games music and I simply had to try it out. The Field Battle theme still blows me away to this day.
Its a great game if you have enough fortitude for the battle system. Enemy encounters are random, very frequent and can contain an enormous quantity of enemies. Combining this with the fact that you are only ever truly in control of one single character in your party of up-to-five members, theres a lot of just watching things play out, even if you have the ability to tell the AI-controlled characters to target specific opponents. Some random encounters can actually last longer than some boss fights, which is crazy. The random encounter around 2:19:15 is a good example, lasting over 5 minutes.
Emerald Dragon is one of those games I had waiting as a to-do game for years and years; I still have one stray part 1 from 2011 when I was planning to finally do a playthrough of it, which evidently didnt work out.
Stream title should be obvious if youre aware of the game. Live notification is was just something I wrote to keep it from being a generic live message, trying to imitate the all-too-familiar sound of missing every attack.
Added a basic thumbnail so its easier to tell part one apart from part another.

Stream Title: Dragon Change!
Live Notification: HAA! *ting* HAA! *ting* HAA! *ting*
Stream Description: A playthrough of the Super Famicom version of Emerald Dragon using an English translation patch. I dont have a clear estimate for the length, so I dont know if this will be a two-parter. Ill try to go through as much of the dialogue as I can, but I will definitely miss several chats, inn visits and NPC lines.
Considering the potential length of the stream (very likely well over 10 hours), I may take very short breaks.
