I felt like playing some SMBX on DGV again, since you guys seem to like it almost as much as Mario Forever. I wasn't sure what title I should play exactly, since there are a lot (and I mean a LOT) of different worlds (or "episodes") created by the fanbase out there ! If you're curious, there's actually a forum where people share SMBX episodes, which is where I got this one. Pretty cool ! I knew I wanted something pretty simple and easy to play, since I haven't played SMBX in a long time and wasn't quite ready for anything too involved. After a bit of back and forth, I settled on "The Princess Cliché". It's nothing special really, as the title itself suggests. It's also not a very long world, so it was the perfect "appetizer" that put me in the mood for some more SMBX action. If you guys have suggestions of episodes you'd like me to play, let me know in the comments and I'll try to show them here on DGV ! Danny Rulez !

I thought you guys might like this one so I will share it with you: user NortShip01 made a mix of the soundtracks from the original Jazz Jackrabbit on the DOS and he asked for my opinion, since he knows Im a fan of the series myself. I thought its pretty amazing, so I asked him if hed like me to feature it on my channel and he agreed, so here it is. I believe he included most, if not ALL of the tracks from the game, perfectly mixed into one another and not just added sequentially. I can only praise the effort and quality - keep it up ! If you have a track or a mix that youd like me to feature, you can contact me and we can set up a video ! The track list is below, though I havent added any timecodes yet - feel free to do that in the comments.

Heres a new Mario Forever game, called Mario Forever 2014, created by 2233 - the same guy who made Human Lab 2. When I first heard the title, I thought it would be nothing more than a compilation of all the other fan games that have been made so far (being that were approaching the end of the year), but its a totally new game with new worlds. What can I say ? Its a very nicely done game and I really enjoyed it: the challenge is there without being overly annoying, the controls are smooth, the soundtracks are awesome and overall they pretty much nailed every key aspect of a good game, but there are some minor things that require a bit of work still. The most important of these has to be the key mapping, because it currently doesnt work: no matter which keys you define in the options menu, the game always uses the default ones, CTRL for running and SHIFT for jumping. It doesnt help that theyre above each other, because I have to use my pinky to hold down CTRL while using my ring finger to press SHIFT, which is totally uncomfortable and painful after playing for a long time. They should at least be X and Z by default like in other games (which is also what I always set them to) regardless of what game I play. Another thing I need to mention, though this is more of a mystery than it is a problem, is that the game came to a sudden end after beating World 3: I took down Bowser, the victory theme played and then I popped back at the save-screen, which left me wondering what the hell just happened. Is this the whole game and I completed it, or is it a glitch ? If its the former, then it could be longer and have an end-screen with a generic congratulations message. If its the latter, then it should be fixed, needless to say. Some 1-UPs could be added along the way as well, especially from World 2 onward, because it gets quite challenging and having to go back to the beginning of the world every time you use up all your lives brings the fun factor level down pretty considerably. Other than that, theres really not much to say. Very good game overall ! Good job ! Approved by DGV. Mario Forever 2014 PC Walkthrough [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/H_lsubLpN24/mqdefault.jpg)

UPDATED VERSION HERE : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7GV_fjNe-Q
Heres another world bundled with The Minus Worlds, called World Zero. Despite this world claiming to be a demo (as stated on the sign next to the entrance pipe on the start-up screen), it actually feels and plays just like a fully fledged game, so Im expecting the DEMO part to mean that its going to be included in the main game or made into its own standalone game. I got the game pretty long ago, so Im aware that Crist1919 may have released a newer version in the meantime with more levels and some bug fixes. Speaking of which, theres a problem that needs fixing and that is the game skips level 2 and jumps straight to level 3. I wouldnt have noticed if the map screen hadnt shown me passing through an area that didnt look anything like the level I had just completed - it had indeed jumped from level 1 straight to 3 ! Level 2 looks like an underwater maze, judging by the map screen, and its pretty disappointing not being able to play it. Skipping an entire level would be very welcome in a bad game where all you want to do is be done with it as fast as possible, but in this case its a shame really, because the game plays well and there is no cheap stuff, so you dont feel the need to pay the game back by cheating. Other than that, theres not much to say - it maintains the same good stuff from the main game except with different levels, so it gets the seal of approval despite the level skipping glitch. Im sure theres a new version available, or at least in progress. Danny rulez ! Mario Forever - The Minus Worlds: World Zero by Crist1919 [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ixg2lqW0ELU/mqdefault.jpg)

After a very long streak of Mario Forever games, I thought Id play something else for a change and give Jazz Jackrabbit 2 another go. I did make a series of it before, but it remained one of my lesser-known ones, so I eventually ended up removing it entirely since it wasnt getting enough views and was just cluttering up the channel. I did it in my early days, even before my channel was known as DGV, so it was no longer up to standards: the videos were low quality and spread out over many short vids, one for each level in fact ! Now that my channel has grown a bit, Ill try reviving it just to see how well it appeals to the public and also to change the pace a bit, as were probably getting a little bored with Mario by now and some variety is in order. I might even go back and do the original DOS game again as well, since that one is split up into a ridiculous number of individual vids and they all kinda suck, so this is also a perfect opportunity to clean up and reorganize The Game Vault a bit. Let me know what you guys think and whether you want to see more. Danny out. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 PC Walkthrough (Ep. 1 - Formerly A Prince) [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/JGNb-5dpgRQ/mqdefault.jpg)

NOTE : Theres no download link for this world Im afraid. It was given to me by some fans a while back, but the links been taken down after a while, so I dont know if its still available somewhere...
Alright boys and girls, its been a while since my last video so it was about time I took another video request: you guys wanted to see the latest world by Syzxchulun, World 10, just recently released, so were going to check it out. What can I say about it after completing it ? Well, its slightly easier than World 9, Ill tell you that, but its no walk in the park either. This time youre not faced with tough jumps and narrow platforms, but with a lot of enemies like flying fish and turtles, plus the levels seem a bit longer too. One problem that still persists from the previous game is the lack of checkpoints or continues, meaning whenever you lose all your lives, you always go back to the first level. Its especially tedious when it happens in later levels, because youll want another shot right away, but instead you have to do the first stages again, which brings the fun factor level down considerably. If theres one thing I expected to be added after the feedback from the previous game, is a checkpoint at the beginning of each level, so if you lost all your lives, you at least didnt have to do the previous levels again, unless you quit the game. The last castle in particular is a nightmare: it looks easy at first, but soon after starting, the screen goes completely dark, making it nearly impossible to see whats going on. As if that wasnt bad enough, its further exacerbated by the multitude of narrow platforms youll have to jump on and bricks falling from the ceiling that you have to dodge, so the only way to make it through is to keep playing until you remember exactly where each platform is and where the stones drop ! To allow you to see whats going on in the video, I increased the brightness of the dark areas, which might make it look easy, but when youre dealing with all that bullshit in total darkness, its not, believe me ! Once you get to Bowser, youll discover that unlike the rest of the level hes actually pretty easy to beat, since he moves and fires very slowly, I guess to ease your pain a bit. Overall, this is a decent follow-up to the insanely difficult World 9, but the absence of continues or checkpoints makes it less enjoyable than it should be. Still, if youre in the mood for a good challenge, give it a try ! Danny rulez ! Mario Forever - World 10 by Syzxchulun Walkthrough [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ku2FGBhD0cI/mqdefault.jpg)

Time to hit the slot machines, roulette and pinball tables, because Sonic and Tails arrive in Casino Zone. There are virtually no enemies in this world, so the only thing you have to worry about is the time limit, as its easy to get distracted by the bumpers, flippers and other stuff like this. Sonic turns into Super Sonic for the first time so far, plus an interesting little discovery Danny made. Watch ! Heres another game in the Softendo family: New Super Mario Forever. As you may have guessed from the title, its similar to New Super Mario Bros on the Wii, though I wouldnt call it a rip-off since it doesnt actually copy anything directly from the Wii game - it borrows the concept, enemies and powerups and reuses them in its own way to create something new. The overall concept is the same as Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES: same map format with 8 different worlds and 7 sons of Bowser you have to defeat, same enemies and even some levels look the same, so youll feel at home with this one. Graphically speaking, the game is decent, considering what it is, though the animations of Mario walking and jumping look a bit off and I noticed a lot of people making fun of this in the comments. Gameplay-wise, one thing I can say I dont like is how the screen takes too long to pan when you jump to the top - it freezes for about 1 second before it finally reorients. This could cost you a hit if you jump right into an enemy that you cant see - it should adjust instantly to keep Mario in the middle of the screen at all time. The music and sounds are very good as well: you get musical variety and the quality of the soundtracks is awesome. One thing they decided to change and I dont really appreciate is the sounds Mario makes when jumping (stuff like Ah ! Yeah ! HoUh !). Since its a platform game where you jump a lot, they tend to get irritating after a while and you cant turn them off - you have to turn off all other sound effects too. I would have much preferred the traditional jump sound effects of all the other games, or at least have an option to toggle the voice on and off, independent of the sound effects. Another thing that ruins what would otherwise be a great Mario fan game is the overwhelming amount of spelling and grammar errors - thought NES games were bad at this when they got ported from their japanese versions ? Well, look again: the word order is incorrect and many words are misspelled, making the messages incoherent and even confusing to read, especially in the early levels where youre given instructions on how to perform certain moves - I actually had to read a message twice before figuring out how to do the wall jump. Im aware the maker of the game is not a native English speaker, but couldnt he at least get someone to proof-read the game before releasing it to the public ? I kinda smell Google Translate here ! To be perfectly fair its not too much of a problem as far as playability is concerned, because its the gameplay that counts in Mario games and not so much the dialogues. If it were an RPG like Castlevania where you had to rely on clues and dialogues to progress, then yes, it would be a big issue indeed, but in an action-oriented game like this, we can let it slide. Other than that, theres no need to go into great detail about the game since its self explanatory - if you dont know how to play a Mario game then you shouldnt call yourself a gamer ! Aside from the F it gets in grammar, the game gets an overall A from Daniels Game Vault. Softendo pretty much did everything they could to recreate a Wii game on the PC, which is no easy task considering how complex it is, so for that I can only applaud them ! Well done ! Watch the original v1.0 contraption: http://youtu.be/nAkw5vF65Cw
Some of you may know that a while back I did a video of a silly contraption I made in Algodoo, that physics simulation game which lets you create your own crazy gadgets and machines. I didnt expect too much from that vid, but it turned out to be highly successful, earning over 1000 views overnight and against all expectations it continued to grow until it became my No.1 most popular video on Youtube EVER, scoring more hits than even some of my Mario videos - WOW ! Not that long ago, mostly out of boredom, I started playing around with Algodoo again and since I still had the original machine saved on a CD somewhere (because it took a lot of work to make), I decided to load it up, tweak it some more and see just how big I can make it. So after about a week of work, it grew into the contraption you see in the video. I didnt remove any parts of the original version - I only added more stuff around that. Just like last time, I couldnt decide whether it should be a CD machine or a ball machine, so I compromised by adding both :)) I tried to keep it as realistic as possible, although being a 2D game, there are certain parts that simply wouldnt work in real life because they blatantly violate the laws of physics, such as objects passing through one another, or the lack of friction in some parts, but thats actually what makes Algodoo so fun: the fact that you can make your own rules and make a world that bows before you. Let me know if I nailed it or failed it with the music this time, and if you need any help with the game, feel free to comment and ask questions. Also, if you saw a part of the level that you think I didnt cover, you can ask about it. Remember that Algodoo is all about having fun and breaking the laws of physics and the bounds of whats normally possible, so enjoy :D Algodoo Marble Run/CD Machine v2.0 [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/N3dtyj1Jw_I/mqdefault.jpg)
