I got this one sent to me as Gamebanana is a bitch when it comes to mods.
The Player: There are 2 version of this player, the 8 bit one I showcased here, and the 16-bit one, which is just the fat moot hack sprite. This seems to be a rip off straight from the hack (idk how that is even possible when 32x32 player sprites are not directly in the GFX Folder) and recolored to be a NES styled graphic. Now, I do have a problem with this one, the size, I get the the Fat aspect is the main selling point, but couldn't the "Small" graphic be just, regular moot? there are 2 hacks with the graphics, it could have been easy to do I think, because I don't have a slight idea how this game works, but, if you managed to fit the fat graphic, then the small variant could have been more easier. Another thing I kinda don't like, similar to the Melody sprite, there are no starman palette, ou won't flash no matter what, I even wonder if this and the melody one were done by the same person.
The Engine: This is not about the player and it's mostly something I forgot to add in the melody video. I really wish this thing had a video scale option, because as is I have to stretch the window myself, and it's kinda ass to adjust the screen to a 1280x720 window
Conclusion:
Neat player but personally it needs a bit more, such as the starman palette and idk if the castle can be extended because the belly shows up from the side. The small graphic thing I mentioned is not that big of a deal but y'know, it could make this more easier to read
