I'm on vacation! I went from the USA equivalent of Desert Land to Grass Land, where I grew up! I recorded these 8 snippets before I left, and then I edited on vacation. Some of the variations in the tunes are my own doing, some to represent the NES version and then reference the SNES version. For example, with Grass Land I play the NES version first and then play an octave lower just like the SNES version. Some interesting things I recently learned doing this: Water Land's melody is the same as the Fairy Fountain theme from Zelda, and 'Water Land' and 'Sky Land' are oxymorons. They are simple themes, but very nostalgic. Which is your favorite?
Grass Land: 0:00-0:35
Desert Land: 0:35-0:55
Water Land: 0:55-1:28
Giant Land: 1:28-2:00
Sky Land: 2:00-2:39
Ice Land: 2:39-3:10
Pipe Land: 3:10-3:31
Dark Land: 3:31-4:07
