This longplay is from the Super Mario Bros 2 game, originally released for the NES in 1988 in the United States and Europe and in 1992 in Japan (where it was called Super Mario Bros 2 USA) and made over the gameplay of the game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic. This game has a gameplay very different from the previous game and many even consider this game a spin-off, because the real Super Mario Bros 2 was released only in Japan and did not even go to the United States, because it is a game for the Famicom Disk System and also by the extremely high level of difficulty).
This Super Mario Bros 2 of this video was very well received and is a very good game, although it is very different. . Super Mario Bros is the first Mario game to be the platform genre with progression from left to right (unlike previous games that had only one screen per stage) and was a true watershed of the most famous character of Nintendo. In Japan the game was a huge sales success for the Famicom, but Nintendo needed more planning to launch that game in the United States because it was still suffering from the effects of the video game crisis of 1983, then released the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) as if it were an electronic toy and included the game Super Mario Bros along with the console, a strategy that many distrusted but in the end proved to be one of the most market-smart things ever done and many Western children had their first contact with videogame through Super Mario.

It ran for 53 episodes from January 20, 1991 to January 26, 1992 on TV Asahi. It is part of the Metal Hero Series franchise. It is a sequel to Tokkei Winspector, and the second series in the Rescue Hero Trilogy.
