"Mario Land is once again, under attack!! This time, Bowser's casted another curse over the castle and he and his troops have been going around the Mushroom Continent causing mayhem, stealing Power Stars and crushing anything and anyone who gets in their way! Mario and friends just so happened to be visiting Mario Land for a celebratory vacation when they caught wind of the Koopa chaos. It is now up to Mario reclaim his kingdom and liberate the rest by hunting down the lost Stars! Only then, will he have the strength to take down Bowser!

Celebrating 30 years of one of the greatest video games of all time with 30 Stars from my biggest, most polished SM64 project yet! Lost Golden Stars takes inspiration from various SM64 hacks as well as revives scrapped ideas of my own and content from unreleased projects. This is the hack I've wanted to make since 2020 and now I finally have the skills and resources to pull it off!

The finished project is planned to be a 120+ Star epic. With all-new creative stages, a beautiful presentation, fun and innovative mechanics, etc. As of releasing this demo, the game is roughly 12% complete and has been in development for just over three months. Tons more features and improvements are set to be added and I highly welcome you to check out the project and give your respective feedback.

For anyone curious about console compatiblity, while I don't have the equipment to test it, considering how large most of the stages are and the fact I enabled ROM Manager's RCVI Hack in order to reduce lag, I'm assuming it doesn't, unfortunately.

The demo contains four courses and two bonus Stars. This entire build is essentially a snapshot of what I currently have done. Credits are also listed in the game. I hope you enjoy it!"
