Princess Peach invites Mario over to her castle for some cake, but once Mario shows up there, he realizes that Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and stolen all of the Power Stars from the castle. It's now up to Mario to rescue Princess Peach and restore the Power Stars to the castle.
In this part, we go up to last Bowser stage where we will get all eight Red Coins for the 120th Power Star. Then, before we defeat Bowser, we will go back to the Castle Grounds to use the cannon that opens once you have 120 Power Stars to get to the top of the castle where we will find three 1-Up Mushrooms, a Wing Cap Block, and Yoshi, who will max our life counter up to 100. Once you have 100 lives, you will get a new type of triple jump that makes you invincible from long falls. Finally, we go back to the final Bowser Stage to defeat him once and for all, save Princess Peach, restore the Power Stars to the castle, and of course, have some cake, yummy!!! And that's the end of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64/Wii U Virtual Console.
