Princess Peach invites Mario over to her castle for some cake, but once Mario shows up there, he realizes that Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and stolen all of the Power Stars from the castle. It's now up to Mario to rescue Princess Peach and restore the Power Stars to the castle.

In this part, we go up to the next three worlds, Lethal Lava Land, Shifting Sand Land, and Dire, Dire Docks, to find and collect all seven Power Stars from each.
