Hello from HAL Laboratories! I'm Shinya Kumazaki, general director of the Super Kirby Clash™ game.
Today, we'd like to share the game's first prototype for the end-credits song, "Green Tree Memories from Kirby."
We asked Tadashi Ikegami, who composed for games like Kirby's Dream Land™ 2, to compose a song. We were surprised to receive the first rendition of the song just says after sending our request. The version above is one of two prototypes he created. Please have a listen!
This early version of the song hasn't been arranged, and there were no vocals, so it's quite different from the final version. But, we felt the warm atmosphere of traveling with friends even from this first prototype!
Based on the prototype, Hirokazu Ando, part of our sound staff, worked on arranging the song into its final form. It may be fun for you to compare the first version of the song to the final version used in the game.
