Sunset Divergence
Hello everyone!
Today, i wanted to make something very different from usual, i wanted to try combining my usual style with something a bit more heavier on the production side, meaning a bigger focus on bombasticness and "hype" without sacrificing the composition of the song.
Making this song was quite a challenge, my inspiration and creativity really takes a downwards slide thanks to the heat of summer, that's when i thought back to 2016, because back in the summer of 2016, i composed a song inspired by my feelings of distain towards the summer heat, so i thought "hey, why not try that again?", but when i started working on the song, i realised that i as a person have changed a lot in these 2 years, and perhaps it was time for something a bit more refreshing, so i placed a big emphasis on production quality this time around.
This song is like an expression of my annoyance, i can rant about the summer heat for weeks, but the fact of the matter is that time continues, and it's better to do my best to stay productive.
The tone of the song is kind of a mix between the feeling i mentioned before and also a kind of melancholic feeling.
I also wanted to draw a character for this song (a cute girl like i used to do), but it didn't turn out the way i wanted, but check out my Twitter if you want to see some of my art, i plan to draw more soon since i'm kinda having a small music break for the ridiculous drought/heatwave period here in the Netherlands.
For anyone curious what i am currently working on, i'm composing music for a few indie game OST's, and i'm working on a new personal album i wish to release in the winter of 2018

Honestly, i'm doing my best to keep myself from falling back into depression.
Summer is my least favourite season, so i'm just trying to get through it, but i try to stay positive and stuff.
