Sunlight Geyser
Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano in northwestern Wyoming, USA.
Sunlight Geyser is a cluster of vents about 24 meters northwest of Opalescent Pool’s northwestern margin in the Black Sand Basin of Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin. Eruptive activity at the two larger vents consists of low to moderately low splashing, but decent-sized eruptions were reported in May 2007.
