🍅Hey Guys,
Today I would like to share with you my husbands recipe for Sunday Gravy. He cooking in a ongoing series of Italian Recipes so stay tuned ! This is what I call Italian style meal prep!

Ingredients:
1 pound of Italian sausage
1 -2 pounds of sweet Italian sausage (ground) out of the casing
4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
3 basil leaves or 1 tbsp. dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
3/4 cup of red wine (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon) (optional)
(* Fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 can of peeled or crushed tomatoes
1 can of tomato purée with basil
Italian flat leaf parsley fresh or dried
Italian seasoning
red pepper flakes (optional)
oregano (fresh or dried)
1-2 bay leaves
1 lb pasta of your choice
finishing cheese of your choice
