The horror films of John Carpenter and Dario Argent may seem like an odd introduction to electronic music, but for TV director and old-school metal-head Sebastian Smith they they turned a lifelong love of music on its head.
Armed only with a couple of Korg Volcas in 2018, he was reborn as 'Sebtic Smile' and started working on his own tracks. Initially for fun, he rapidly evolved his kit and creativity to produce jams and music often featured in his and other programs and has flourished as an amazing performer and creative musician. Most recently he put his talents to perfect use as a main player in the three-day Hardware Jams fesitval that took place last week.
