Blank 2 from Martin Pigeon Iron Bark, this I have never turned not even in spindle mode, but it feels like it will be a hard one to shape.
After thought,,,, Really nice wood to cut, the wide grain structure = short shavings but the cuts left a good surface no tear out. and it was a little like Ash which I am well used to these days. finished piece was pretty.
