I don't know what I'm doing halp.
I threw this together in like 4-5 hours on sunday and monday. And I just... had no idea for a thumbnail which is the only reason it came so late. No joke. I wish it was.

*ahem* Lars of the stars like REALLY REALLY REALLY REEEALLYYY brought back my shipping feals for these two. Oh god, they are so imperfect and all that. And I think it's great SU also shows that working on yourself is an important step to work on relationships.

When I first heard this song in Tami's SS for my studio
( CHECK HER VIDEO OUT: youtube.com/watch?v=RpVCsNSDSts ) I loved the freaking intro melody and the way Tami used the voice-overs in it.

So when Lars of the stars aired and I listened to this song on the toilet I was like "OMFG, IT FITS THEM".
Like, no offense, but Larsadie was pretty manipulative for the most part when we saw them. From Both sides. I tried to not use too many scenes of Island Adventure because I for the most part just can't find it too romantic, when I consider that Sadie trapped them there on purpose. Aside of that, the kiss (animation) is really awkward. Like holy shit.

So yeah, I wanted to showcase a lot of them in this amv. AND YES I MAINLY DID IT FOR THE INTRO.
I really loved the "best friends" part even if we all know Lars wanted to say something else; and like, how what he tells Emerald is like really just what their relationship might end up being: Letting someone go instead of clinging to them and stopping them from enjoying their dream. Which I guess now that Lars maybe ends up enjoying his pirate life, might apply to both sides of this relationship - not just Sadie's band/singing life.

SO YEAH. I love them. I'm kinda afraid of their reunion, mainly because for it to be really sincere, they would probably have to be alone, but usually when Steven isn't there.... we don't see it XDDD Damn you Steven.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed it!

PS; I tried something new for the thumbnail, because it's a new year and shit. Let's see how long I can keep that shit up because it involves masking haha.
