Why hello there. Welcome to the Summit Mall located in Fairlawn, OH. Summit Mall opened in 1965 with Halles, O’Neils, and Polsky’s as anchor stores. The mall would receive major renovations and expansion throughout the years and as of 2025 the anchors are Macy’s, and 2 Dillard’s stores men and home and women and children. As of 2025 the mall is at 90% occupied and is still doing good. Let’s go inside and take a look.

Why hello there. Welcome to the abandoned Canton Centre Mall located somewhere. Canton Centre Mall opened in 1965 as Mellet Mall with JCPenney, O’Neils, and Montgomery Ward aa anchors. In 1989 the O’Neils was converted into May Company and in 1993 it would be converted into Kuaffman’s . In 2001 Montgomery Ward closed due to bankruptcy and MontgomeryWard and the wing would be demolished for a new Walmart. In 2006 the Kuaffman’s would be converted into Macy’s and would ended up closing in 2008. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s the mall would be on a rapid decline. In 2020 the mall would ended up closing and as of 2025 the mall is currently getting demolished. Let’s go inside and take a look.

Why hello there. Welcome to the abandoned Lazarus Department Store located at the Eastland Mall located in some city. The Lazarus Department Store was the original anchor to open with the mall. In 2006 the Macy’s would acquire tge Lazarus Department Store and this space would be a Macy’s for only 1 year. Macy’s would move from this space and into the former Kuaffman’s space. In 2009 the former Lazarus building was used for a school for a couple months. After that, the building hasn’t been used since. The building has left to decay, a bunch of water damage, the entire basement level has been flooded. As of 2025 the building itself has been demolished, with the mall and the JCPenney building. Let’s go inside and take a look.
