8th Annual Birdhouse Challenge Contest
Rules:
• Have FUN! Not all entries will win because of limited prizes. However, a playlist of all the entries will be created, and kept on my channel for future reference and recognition.
• All entries must be original and built by you within the time frame of contest.
• This contest is open globally.
• Materials must be non-toxic (no treated wood) and able to withstand the elements.
• Entrants must build the birdhouse to be functional and non-hazardous. Unless specified as ornament.
• Birdhouses must be suitable for a type of species. Entrants must indicate the species the house is designed for and use acceptable standards.

• Overhangs should be provided to keep birdhouses dry.
• No perches should be provided near entry holes to reduce threats from predators.
• Entrant’s must provide a build video no shorter than 2 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes in length. Video links should be mailed to summerswoodworking@gmail.com to be entered.
• Birdhouse entries must contain these words in the title and in the video:

• Summers Woodworking reserves the right to disallow any submission that are deemed unsafe or outside the guidelines provided.
• Judging will be done between my wife and I.
• Prize winners will be announced on September 4, 2020 on my Summers Woodworking YouTube Channel.
• Entrants are asked to have your videos of your build completed with links sent to the above email address by 11:59 PM Pacific September 2, 2020 . No other ways of acceptance is allowed.
