The Aug. 7 wildfire sent a massive wall of flames toward a Summerland neighbourhood, forcing firefighters into a desperate battle to protect homes. The fire chief says crews faced a wall of fire two-and-half to three-kilometres wide, with embers, wind and flames moving through the community. About 150 structures were lost, while residents continue to deal with power outages, damaged appliances and a boil-water advisory.
