In this video I will show you how to make a cheap DIY alternative to expensive MRE’s. Much bigger portions and better quality food. Have what ever you like for a fraction of the cost. ******* Something I forgot ******* Maybe a slightly better way of making a vacuum. Partially seal the top leaving a small gap in the corner as before. Instead of using the straw, Fill a vassal full of water and submerge your pouch in it, leaving the top exposed. This will push all the remaining air out. Pinch the corner and seal the rest of the bag. Do not use the hair straighteners near water take the bag away. Electricals near water can be very dangerous! I am simply trying to recreate MRE’s and make life easier for my camping trips and sharing my experiences. I do not suggest packing food and leaving it for long periods of time. This is what I do the night before a trip so I know the food is fresh. Also I do not condone using hair straighteners in a way they are not intended or designed to be used in.
