I’m very excited to play my final show in Australia this weekend at SUMMER SESSION 2015 before heading back to the States.
I’ve made this Launchpad mash by sampling the Summer Session artists, which include: Generik, Helena, Uberjak’d, Odd Mob, Savage, Warp Brothers, Tonite Only and Kilter.

Some info:
This song is from 2015, a time when my music career was going through some big changes. I was transitioning to new management personnel within a larger team. They had different ideas about the kind of music I should make. They wanted me to go more pop, but I was torn because my heart was still in dubstep and dance music, the styles I was known for. It was a tough decision because I wanted to please a larger audience and the team I was signed to, but I also wanted to stay true to myself as an artist. This song captures all the mixed emotions and confusion I felt during that time. Because of my doubts and other things going on, I kept this song on a hard drive until now. To make things more complicated back then, I wasnt even sure if the record label, who owned the rights to my music had even received this song or even liked it. But now, things have changed. Im no longer tied to any label and Im fully independent. So I decided to go back and revisit these old projects that truly represent who I was as an artist back then—and still am today. Im really excited to share this song with you because its a piece of my journey. Its a reminder of a time when I had to make important decisions about my music career and failed epically in many ways haha. I hope youll join me on this throwback to 2015 and even have a laugh at my attempt to use Blender to make this little animation to accompany the record. Before releasing this song I jumped back into the old Ableton project and ran it through my mastering gear at the studio (to ironically give it more POOOWWER ⚡️🔋). Still slaps I reckon even eight years later. Little M4SONIC would be proud this finally went out and didnt end up in the trash bin.")
