We have a lovely summer house we have never been able to use, as we were told that the builders would just build the steps when they came, but it turns out, no they wouldn't as there was no 'official booking' to do so. We have since failed in our quest to have some steps, or a ramp built to access this summer house - a bit of a sore point at times - as it would be nice to make the most of yet. However, it turns out Henry, Peggy Sue and Robyn have been scheming to turn it into their own house! I can climb up into it, so this might be a good idea of theirs...they shall have to do some measuring up and planning to show me it is a good idea indeed!
