Immigrants, even those with permanent residency, appear to be under attack in the United States. Holy Cross Ministries (HCM) is one of the local nonprofits that provide comprehensive services to the immigrant community in Utah. Our guest speakers today are Emmie Gardner, Executive Director of HCM, and Lorina Tester, Director of Immigration Programs at HCM. They describe the problems that have surfaced and discuss proposed solutions. Joan Gregory also briefly updates us on the work of First Unitarian Church's own Immigration Justice Team.
