Summer C.A.M.P. is the first-of-it's-kind cross-departmental training designed to bring together individuals who are in the field of community engagement or have direct contact with community members and would like to learn strategies of how to engage. Summer C.A.M.P. was designed with our community members in mind and with a creative approach to cross-departmental training in a way that is fun, collaborative, and engaging. C.A.M.P. is an acronym that stands for Collaborative Actions for Meaningful Partnerships, and as the acronym says, the intent behind this Summer C.A.M.P. is to learn to create some goals to implement to begin achieving meaningful partnerships and relationships with communities in Austin.
