This lore video covers Flik and Odessa's backstory. It takes place two years before the events of Suikoden 1 in the SY 453. It covers how Flik and Odessa first met as Odessa struggled to unite the different bands of rebels together to resist the empire.

This story was told in a short story titled "The Moment of Thunder", from the Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 2, a book that released in Japan in May 2001.
