The first rap song that became a worldwide hit and started the excruciating hip hop phenomenon was released in 1979 by Big Bank Hank (R.I.P.), Wonder Mike & Master Gee with rhyme genius Casanova Fly (nowadays Grandmaster Caz) being left out.

My rendition of this Bernard Edwards (R.I.P.) and Nile Rodgers penned masterpiece was long overdue. So I came up with the 12" short version. The rap is performed entirely by heart while simultaneously playin the piano bass and chords. You don't believe it? Come to one of my live gigs.

Once asked how I learned the long lyrics my answer was and is:
"It cannot be learned, it must be done".

I'm sorry for the bad video quality. A green screen alone doesn't do the job. I have to get better lighting equipment.
