Dear Ashford,
There’s no doubt in my mind that many things can play tricks on your brain. It’s especially at its worst when you’re deep in the forest. I’ve been trying to figure out these.. strange seeings some of the engines have been witnessing recently. I’m not too fond of paranormal activity, but if you ask me— it has to be something to do with that legend Edward talked about a few days ago. Now back to why I’m writing you this, I need you to come to the workshop to test this weird substance I found near a pair of buffers. It’ll be on the table next to the drawing board, small gold sparkling dust— hard to miss. Let me know what the results are.
