Power amplifier, or PA, is a core component in wireless communication devices such as mobile phones or base stations. Many PAs are designed to be used with DPD (Digital Pre-Distortion) so it’s important to measure PA performance under DPD enabled. In this video, we’ll look at the things to know when measuring PA with DPD. This video also demonstrates Keysight new N9055EM0E Power Amplifier measurement application together with VXG and UXA hardware as the integrated PA testing system mainly targeting 5G NR, WLAN, Satellite, or other wideband PA test scenarios. N9055EM0E running inside Keysight X-series Signal Analyzers can connect Keysight Signal Generators for signal generation to make both Pre-DPD and Post-DPD PA measurements as the typical measurements.
