A Falcon Heavy rocket lifted off from Kennedy Space Center Sunday morning, carrying the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope — NASA’s next great observatory and the successor to Hubble and James Webb.


The Roman telescope launched at 7:26 a.m. from the Kennedy Space Center.
