What exactly are Success Bonuses and how do they work for performers?
In the 2023 TV, Theatrical and Streaming contract, SAG-AFTRA secured a brand-new benefit for members: Success Bonuses. But with terms like success bonus payments, distribution fund and streaming bonuses being used interchangeably, it can be hard to know what might apply to you.
SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin sits down with National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland to break it all down and explain who qualifies, how success is measured, and how these payments are made.
