This is not smart and you should never try it, but since we did you might as well get to see what happened.

Since beginning of our adventures off-road, we've recorded places that we come across on a GPS application, and drop notes such as "rock crawl" or "dead end" so we can know what they are when we come across them later. The note that corresponded to this spot was something like "you can't go down this". Yet, inexplicably, we tried anyway.

This area was cleared at one time to install a pipeline. It is not a trail, and vehicles were never intended to go down it. The slope of this mountain ranges a constant 32 to 40 plus degrees, as measured by an inclinometer. Given that we ended up having to winch ourselves back up the mountain, we do not feel too bad about deciding to turn around.
