Oh Hi, I know you are thinking about it, but just do not do Sub4Sub, I admit there was a time at the start of my channel where I did Sub4Sub and now, it is still effecting me many years later, my ratios are off and it is really slowing my growth. Please, if you are reading this, do not do sub for sub on YouTube, just grow naturally through producing consistent quality content. I recommend uploading at least once a week if you want to see some stable growth. Today we talk about Sub4sub and why it is the worst for your channel. Firstly, trading subscribers is risky because a lot of the time one of the channels will not sub back. Even if they do, your subscription feed will be filled with channels you have no interest in watching. Which brings me to point two, why this hurts you.
YouTube's Algorithm knows when Subscribers are fake or achieved via sub for sub and it works against you. When you have a lot more subscribers than video views, YouTube will, instead of suggesting YOUR videos to potential viewers, it will recommend OTHER videos in order to have more potential for somebody to view that video, and in turn earn more ad revenue from advertisers.
Lastly, its just annoying. Seeing these sub4sub comments in the comment section of any video, instead of something else interesting just sucks. Please stop the spread of this epidemic.
