ARMA 4 SCREENSHOTS? ► Arma Reforger Release Dates and Enfusion Engine Speculation! CallMehTOMMEH 2021-05-25 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄ The pieces of the jigsaw are coming together (quite literally...) and it looks like we might be in for an Arma 4/Arma Reforger announcement on the 22nd of June 2021! Since February of this year, Bohemia have been releasing small jigsaw pieces in various blog posts. If you stitch the pieces together, you'll be rewarded with six glimpses into Bohemia's Enfusion Engine technology which is powering their future games, including of course, Arma 4. In this video, I scrutinise these images up close and give you my latest thoughts on what to expect from the next Arma game. After conducting lots of research for this video, it looks very very likely that the game will be returning to its roots where it all began (Operation Flashpoint), with a cold-war setting. DayZ Expansion Helicopter Tutorial ► HOW TO PRACTISE OFFLINE + MY CONTROLS + FLYING TIPS! CallMehTOMMEH 2021-08-12 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄This video is a comprehensive masterclass on how to install the DayZ Expansion Offline mode so you can practise helicopter flight without the risks of flying on live servers, how to setup your controls, how to use your controls, and finally, how to fly like a boss. Whilst the DayZ Expansion helos aren't perfect, and they have plenty of bugs (especially in multiplayer servers) - it is really amazing considering that the Expansion devs have added them in without there being any prior flight model to work from. In Arma 3, it's relatively easy for a modder to make a new helicopter or jet as the assets themselves and flight models for such aircraft are already in the game. This isn't the case for DayZ unfortunately so I really commend the DayZ Expansion team for their excellent efforts. NOTE 1: Keep in mind that these are MODDED helicopters. They WILL be glitchy, break and be unpredictable, even more so when used on a multiplayer server. Use helicopters at your own risk online!NOTE 2: I am aware that there are other helicopter mods for DayZ Standalone. However, this guide will still help in terms of setting up your controls and practising your flight skills. Learning to fly the Expansion helicopters will give you the foundations for being able to fly other modded helicopters out there. ARMA 4 IN 2021? ► Arma Reforger, DayZ 2 and Enfusion Engine Leaks! REAL OR FAKE? CallMehTOMMEH 2021-01-18 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄ Is Arma 4 coming in 2021? What's the status of Bohemia Interactive's new Enfusion Engine? Will there be a DayZ 2? After years of silence from Bohemia themselves, all of these of these burning questions have been supposedly answered by a "ex-BIS employee" on a private Twitter account. To back themselves up, the leaker in question has posted pictures of the Enfusion Engine interface, DayZ 2, cancelled Arma 3 terrains and most interesting of all: Arma Reforger. The leaker says Arma Reforger will be similar to Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis. It will not be a conventional Arma game, but rather a "test bed, sample" for Arma 4. It will apparently release in Q1/2 of 2021 (between January and June 2021). In this video, I will argue for and against the validity of these leaks, but only you can decide. Do you think these leaks are true or false? I have a good relationship with Bohemia and the Arma 3 devs, so I don't want to sour anything by posting this video. I'm surprised I didn't make this kind of tutorial sooner. But even with Arma 3's 7+ year age (come on guys where's Arma 4 at?) - there are still tonnes of new players flocking to the game in need of flying lessons. Today, I cover one of the quickest landings you can do in the Arma 3 flight model: the J-hook manoeuvre. It will get you on the ground in seconds. It's perfect for hot LZs where you're likely to be under a lot of enemy fire. But it's also not for the faint-hearted. It really wouldn't surprise me that there are more people out there with similar stories to share. I want to make sure that mental health is something we can all have a conversation about, and for me, this is the first big step in doing so. We're all human at the end of the day, and sometimes we just need someone to talk to about how we're really feeling. Is DayZ READY for 1.0? ► THE AFTERMATH OF THE FULL RELEASE CallMehTOMMEH 2018-12-25 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄First and foremost, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and festive holiday! :DDayZ has recently been stripped of its early access armour and let loose into the wild with a fully fledged 1.0 release. In this video, I talk about the consequences of this decision, how it has opened up the game to a new level of backlash from reviewers and consumers- damaging its already teetering reputation. DayZ's new "1.0" tag has meant that the game will be scrutinised under the spotlight of the internet even more, whether it be big streamers like Shroud covering the release, or articles written by journalists. It is obviously completely clear that the game is in no fit state to be labelled as 1.0. This build should be called 0.64 at the most. The reasons for the hurried release are somewhat unclear, but we could speculate that it came as a forced choice from a higher-up executive working at Bohemia.Towards the end of the video, I summarise five top ways in which the devs could repair the damage that has been done by releasing such a unfinished 1.0 version...such as reverting the 1.0 tag, becoming more transparent with the community in the future, and leaving time to prioritise key features that will generate authentic hype and excitement for a 'true' 1.0 release.As a disclaimer: I am a HUGE DayZ, Arma and Bohemia Interactive fan in general. By making this video, I by no means intend to add fuel to the DayZ fire. Instead, I hope to offer up some useful information to the community and hopefully attract the attention of the developers so the situation is rectified. Playing ARMA 3 on a Laptop?! ► MY FPS WITH THE ASUS ROG STRIX GL703 GAMING LAPTOP! CallMehTOMMEH 2018-11-26 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄Warning! Trying to play Arma 3 on a laptop, may or may not result in explosive consequences, a burning inferno of death and the loss of your loved ones and home...Jokes aside, Arma 3 is of course notoriously known for its crippling effect on even the most NASA of computers, however, today I hope to break down the misconception that the game cannot run on laptops.Modern gaming laptops are beefy in this day and age- and for the price (£1,199 at the time of publishing on Amazon.co.uk), the ASUS ROG Strix GL703 seems to provide just that.I outline the specs, the build quality, the screen and keyboard, overall usability, upgradability and of course, the benchmark scores towards the end of the video (Battlefield 4, Battlefield 5, DayZ, Subnautica, Arma 3). It was actually very interesting to see how amazingly this laptop performed FPS-wise...it literally crushed all of the games I tested on it. Crazy how far technology has come! However, one big con to keep in mind is that the battery life is a bit disappointing- especially if you're hoping to be on the go for many hours at a time, then this is not the laptop for you!Even if you're not in the market for a laptop, or whatnot, I hope you guys enjoyed watching this video all the same! DayZ 0.63 MAP CINEMATIC ►NEW and IMPROVED NWAF + CHERNOGORSK + MORE! CallMehTOMMEH 2018-04-27 | ►►DESCRIPTION◄◄*Gasp* "Tommy plays games other than just Arma 3?!" *faints*Like or or loathe it, the hype building up towards 0.63 has been pretty damn tremendous. A modder in the community recently scripted in a singleplayer version of 0.63 DayZ, allowing people to play without the need for the stress test servers to be online. The mode is very barebones, has no spawned infected or loot, and is NO reflection of what to expect in a online server, let alone in 0.63 itself on release. There are various commands to use, but with the ability to use a free-camera (something which hasn't been available since the devs patched the ability to paste the files into Arma 3 in around 2015), it really got my cinematic juices flowing, inspiring me to create a Chernarus + map showcase. I want to write as a little disclaimer, that the video contains potential spoilers for new locations such as the new NWAF (which is now named Vybor Airfield) and entirely redesigned Chernogorsk. In addition, I would recommend using the official guide for DayZ 0.63 single-player for a more full and fair experience if you're really itching to try it out: forums.dayz.com/topic/238156-offline-testing-mode-for-dayzEither way, I understand the devs aren't 100% on people producing content with this more illicit version of 0.63 (twitter.com/eugenharton/status/989393941446438912), but I wanted to make something cinematic as opposed to actual gameplay, that didn't expose areas where the map was under-developed or finished. After various game updates and content patches (Apex, Marksmen, Helicopter, Jets), we're finally arriving at the end of the roadmap with the Tanks DLC!-Here's what's included with the DLC:1) The T-140 Angara main battle tank for CSAT is armed with a new 125mm cannon which can fire three different kinds of ammunition. Its secondary weapons are a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun and a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. The T-140K variant replaces the heavy machine gun with a 30mm autocannon!2) The Rhino MGS tank destroyer/armored fighting vehicle (AFV) for NATO has a 120 mm cannon, which can fire multiple standard rounds, but also the new MARUK ATGM missiles. Its secondary is a coaxial .338 magnum machine gun.
