Cycledrag’s Jack Korpela sends a message to Sturgis Mayor Rod Bradley after an alarming trend at the 2026 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally saw a strong opening weekend but then a mass exodus by Wednesday and a very poorly attended final weekend. We take our Sturgis live cam down to Main Street where we find vendors who say they were down significantly and are packing up boxes of unsold shirts. We talk about how the motorcycle crowd is changing and how the younger crowd is sick and tired of inflated prices. We talk to people who say the $500+ hotel rooms and $25 meals are the reason they left early. Sturgis 2026 was impacted by a hail storm and some inclement weather, but it was short lived.
