Today we will be cooking another lovely recipe from the World of Warcraft cookbook: flavourful stuffed lushrooms (otherwise known as stuffed mushrooms) - a perfect dish that still goes great as a side dish at a summer barbeque but is already reminding us of the joys that autumn will bring. If you are not big on meat, I also will give you some tips on making this into a vegan snack. As always I have tweaked the recipe a bit to try and make it even yummier for you.
Recipe Stuffed Lushrooms - World of Warcraft
10 ounces mushrooms (portabella or champignon)
1 Tsp sesame or peanut oil (olive or any other works too)
2 tsp fresh minced ginger
1 minced garlic clove
1 cup ground pork sausage (or any other sausage)
1 Tbs soy sauce
0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 Tbs sesame seeds
2 Tbs minced scallions
Vegan Stuffed Mushrooms
X Replace meat with a mixture of chopped walnuts and chickpeas (apply seasoning that you enjoy)
X Replace grated parmesan with vegan cheese or nutritional yeast
