Rarely seen and found nowhere else on Earth.

Weighing just 1kg, the endangered Bornean ferret badger is one of the world's least-seen mammals.

Now, Oxford biologists have helped produce the most comprehensive assessment of the species to date, shedding new light on where it lives and the challenges it faces.

The landmark study was led by Oxford's WildCRU and Sabah Parks, revealing that this elusive mammal is found only in the mountain landscapes of Sabah, Borneo.
