Over the past 30 years, “Weird Al” Yankovic has skewered pop stars from Billy Ray Cyrus to Miley. His most recent album, Mandatory Fun, was his first to hit #1 on the Billboard chart. But he told Kurt Andersen that got his start as a perfectly serious rock and roll accordionist.
When he visited Studio 360, he performed an acoustic version of his first gigantic hit, the Michael Jackson parody “Eat It.” Mashing up Jackson and Clapton, this version must be heard to be believed.
