Screens connect us and sometimes isolate us. In preparation for next Monday’s The World and Our Calling lecture, Redeemer students were asked about their screen habits. In her lecture, “The Digital Hearth: On Sharing Screens and Stories in a Fragmented Age,” 2025 Emerging Public Intellectual Award winner Dr. Katie Day Good will reflect on this fragmented digital age and invite us to imagine more intentional, communal ways of engaging with technology.
The EPI award recognizes and fosters emerging talent—those working in the Christian academy who excel in both academic and public spheres and whose work impacts the common good. The award is hosted by Redeemer University and sponsored by @acton_institute, @cardus.ca, the @centerpublicjustice, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), the @henry_institute at @calvinuniversity and the Mouw Institute for Faith and Public Life at @fullerseminary.
